Role Description

Aderant is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team. This role is a key partner to Finance, Legal, Sales, Professional Services, and other functions in driving enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives. You will leverage deep expertise in finance and legal operations—including Quote-to-Cash (QTC)—to optimize systems and processes, with a strong focus on automation, continuous improvement, and AI-driven solutions. 

Qualifications

 

  • 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a related operations/analyst role with Salesforce. 
  • Subject matter expert on Quote to Cash process  
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A strategic thinker who is comfortable challenging the status quo and designing scalable, future-forward processes. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. 
  • Preferred: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification. 
  • Experience with Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms. 
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to capture, analyze, and validate requirements, using insights from diverse data sources. 
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation. 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot process and system inefficiencies, identify root causes, and deliver best-practice solutions. 
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment and clear expectations with stakeholders. 
  • Lead change management and enablement efforts, ensuring adoption of new processes and technologies. 
  • Champion process automation and AI opportunities to streamline operations and enhance business outcomes.
