Aderant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

The Senior Engineer should work equally well on a team or independently, given a set of project requirements or tasks. They should understand the aspects of the software development cycle, from architecture to testing. This person will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. This person should have experience with participating in projects using agile methodologies, such as the Scrum approach to agile software development. Five plus years of experience with deep understanding of web technologies, API consumption/development, full lifecycle application development, database development (relational and/or NoSQL), and enterprise/cloud architecture. The ideal candidate has experience solving technical problems, helps the team make technical decisions, reviews code thoroughly, follows proven best practices, and can spot code smells. The candidate should help amplify the output of others through mentoring and leading by example. They should be familiar with AI tooling and using tools like GH copilot to help increase their throughput.

• Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus.
• 5+ years of experience building secure and scalable web applications and APIs. 
• Has experience leading teams technically or solving technical problems.
• Typescript/NodeJS. Golang is a huge plus but not required.
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript React. 
• Securing applications with IAM technologies.  
• NoSQL datastores.
• CI/CD with Github Actions.

• Collaboration, mentoring, problem solving, technical leadership, proof of concept delivery, security awareness and adherence, technical demonstration, and good communication skills.
