Role Description

As a member of the Product Management team, the Director of Product Management for Stridyn Analytics will be responsible for leading and managing the transformation of Aderant’s Analytics portfolio across business and practice management solutions including Analytics for Aderant’s financial, compliance, docketing and people management law firm products.

 

As an expert in SaaS Analytics product management, you will manage the transformation of a diverse set of analytics across the portfolio into a unified solution in the Stridyn platform.  You will manage team members responsible for the business and technical requirements and priorities associated with this analytics transformation. You will also collaborate across the organization with product line leadership and product managers, closely with Research & Development to deliver Stridyn Analytics and with cross functional stakeholders and Executive and Senior Leadership teams to ensure that Stridyn Analytics exceeds business goals.  You will work with a cross-functional set of colleagues and partners to solve complex customer problems, in a fast-paced environment.

 

To achieve success, you must have a passion for analytics, cloud technologies and platform models, bringing and possessing a unique blend of business and technical savvy including a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.  

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software product management experience
  • 8+ years of managing a SaaS product
  • Experience managing full product lifecycle of analytics SaaS products. Preferably in the Legal software domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and product owners
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers and prospects to identify areas of improvement and translate them into executable product specifications
  • Ability to actively engage and support development, marketing, and sales
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship-building and organization skills to work without close supervision
  • A good understanding of Agile and modern software delivery methodologies
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites (potentially up to 25% as needed)

Responsibilities

  • You must enjoy spending time in the market understanding problems and find innovative solutions that help improve our customers’ experience.
  • You must be able to communicate and collaborate with all areas of the company.
  • Serve as product evangelist and assist Sales Team Members to communicate benefits and differentiation of product line to clients.
  • Building out a future team of product managers, to define and execute our analytics product transformation, growth and differentiation strategy.
  • Conduct and participate in customer advisory boards.
  • Manage the product roadmap with data-based decisions on prioritization and ensure a balance on long-term growth while meeting short-term sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, including beta and early adopter programs, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyze risk and priorities, and prioritize development accordingly.
  • Communicate with the Executive team key product milestones and customer feedback, with appropriate mitigation plans for customers.
