Role Description

The Director of Global Marketing Events will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all global marketing events, including trade shows, external Aderant-hosted events, and internal events. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring our events not only meet but exceed our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact events that drive measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on B2B events..
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or professional services industry.
  • Certification in event management (e.g., CMP, CSEP).
  • Experience with digital and hybrid event formats.

Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive global events strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and business goals.
  • Event Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of all global marketing events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired business outcomes.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of event professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure high-quality event delivery.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and executive teams to ensure alignment and support for events.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze event performance metrics and provide actionable insights to continuously improve event impact, effectiveness, and ROI with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events resulting in 25-30% ROI.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into event planning and execution.
