The Workday HRIS Specialist is a key member of the HR team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of the HRIS system. This role involves system administration, data management, reporting, and providing technical support to HR staff and end-users. The HRIS Specialist collaborates closely with HR leaders, IT professionals, and external vendors to maintain and enhance HRIS functionality to meet organizational needs.
Maintain HR data accuracy and completeness within the HRIS.
Generate standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics for HR and management using HRIS tools.
Provide technical support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionality, troubleshooting issues, and resolving inquiries.
Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to ensure users understand and utilize HRIS features effectively.
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
Participate in HRIS-related projects, such as system upgrades, integrations, and new module implementations.
Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security policies.
Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive HR data.
Collaborate with HRIS vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and optimize system performance
Assist in evaluating new HRIS products or services and participate in vendor selection processes.
