Role Description

Aderant is looking for a Tradeshow Events Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of Aderant’s third-party tradeshows and sponsorships. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Marketing Events, this role will amplify Aderant’s presence at industry events, deepen our brand awareness with customers and prospects, ensure alignment with business goals, and maximize tradeshow return on investment.

 

This position will work closely with Sales Enablement, Finance, Legal, and Design teams, ensuring adherence to brand standards and streamlined communication. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sponsorship negotiations, logistics, budgeting, lead capture, and event reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in tradeshow or event management, focusing on sponsorships and logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Marketing Event-related tools such as lead capture and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Cvent.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing sponsorships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Tradeshow Event Strategy & Sponsorship Management

  • Work with Leadership to develop and manage a comprehensive strategy for third-party tradeshows and sponsorships that is aligned with Aderant’s business objectives.
  • Lead sponsorship negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing exposure for Aderant at key industry events.
  • Identify and recommend new sponsorship opportunities that align with organizational priorities.

Logistics and Event Coordination

  • Manage all logistical aspects of tradeshows, including booth setup, AV requirements, promotional materials, and staff travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure tradeshow materials and booth designs adhere to company brand standards and align with Marketing and business objectives.
  • Adhere to consistent processes, templates, and internal communication standards, including developing detailed Event Briefs for each event.
  • Own Event Marketing efforts for Tradeshows and third-party sponsorships to include social media and email.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

  • Manage tradeshow budgets, ensuring alignment with and adherence to overall marketing spend.
  • Track and report on spend against budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Lead Capture & Event Reporting

  • Manage onsite Lead Capture process, ensuring accurate lead measurement and reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute data from events to measure success, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead post-mortem sessions with internal stakeholders to review event outcomes, share learnings and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with Sales and Sales Enablement to establish metrics and event goals that align with the business needs.
  • Own internal communication and coordination efforts with Aderant staff attendees.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, sponsorship partners, and event organizers related to tradeshows.
